New Per View Comment System, Easier Access to Java3d and Zoomified Posters

I made a comment system where you can easily make comments on each view. This way people can critique and correct each map on a per view basis, or tell about where they’ve skied on each view.  I’ve also included the Zoomified Posters and the Java 3D versions as views, so they’ll be more convenient for you and easier for me to maintain. I had been sort of handcrafting access to each one, which would be a pain to maintain eventually. This way the access and display are automated.

The comment system idea came from another system called Instacomment. That one was okay, but it required remote hosting and now the author is selling it on eBay, so better to roll my own. So I combined a Javascript pseudo popup class that I had found somewhere else and heavily modified, with the MyBIC Ajax suite to make a fairly easy to use system, I think.

Instacomment is better than mine, though, because it has the Akismet spam filter built in, and some other nice features. We’ll see if my comments are too open, see if they attract a bunch of spammers, then I may have to tighten up security.
