Demicron has a new version of their very expensive WireFusion Java3D software. I’ve gotten a tryout download that I can use for 30 days, so I’ll be making WireFusion models of all the resorts I have, since the few I do have seem so popular. Now that I’ve got a process down, it should be smooth sailing.
The advantage is that you can view the 3d model without having to install a plugin. You have to have Java, of course, but Google Analytics tells me that something over 97% of my visitors have Java. For that matter, around 99% have Flash.
I had some bugs that might have prevented people from viewing the Java3D and Flash stuff on my site, caused by switching from PHP4 to PHP5 and not changing all the instances of “<?=” to “<?php echo “. PHP programmers will understand what I’m talking about.
