Now here’s a design for California’s Bear Valley Mountain Resort. It’s in the same vein as my other recent designs, with the woodblock lettering and the curving accents.

A couple of people canceled orders with GoodStorm and another was still waiting after 6 weeks for a shipment of 5 t-shirts, so I’m going to back off of that for a while. The store’s still up, but they seem to be having growing pains and are unable to fulfill orders or take new designs [...]

I took a different tack on this one. Instead of just using the overlay as a design element, I masked off the ski area as on the other t-shirts, but then I overlaid it on the model and did a projection of that. So the ski area is in relief like a 3D model, but [...]

I now have 3d Java Models of Keystone and Loveland in Colorado. The Keystone overlay is updated to include new areas they’ve opened up. There are only a few left and then I can go back to working on t-shirts, posters, and new additions to my ski area lineup.

I’ve put an rss feed for the 3D Java Models on the front page. This should make it easier to keep track of which resorts have 3D Java.

Breckenridge added some trails and other are so I got the latest satellite orthophoto and made a new overlay to go with the 3d Java model.

I’ve just put up some 3d java models of Sugarloaf, and Sugarbush. Because of its size, Sugarbush is split into Sugarbush South and Sugarbush North.

I’ve put up 3d Java models of Mad River Glen, Pico, Red River, and Winter Park. Obviously these were pretty easy since I did four in one night. I did the basic work for these late last ski season, so they were more in line already. The earlier work I did was less regular, before [...]

Okay, I said I was going to do this for Breckenridge next, but that’s another resort where I need to make major updates, so that’s in the works, but meanwhile Bear Valley and Kirkwood were easier to crank out so I did that to keep things moving.
