3d Java Model of Crested Butte With New Overlay

In making 3d Java maps of all my resorts, I’m finding that some of the satellite photos I’ve been using are out of date as resort owners open up new areas over time. With Crested Butte I was missing the whole North Face and Teocali bowl, some of the most exciting parts of the mountain.

So now I’ve got Crested Butte with a new satellite photo overlay, and it looks spectacular. Right now I’ve just got the 3d Java model, and then I have to go back and redo the views and the Flux model.

Next up will be a revised Breckenridge, with some new trails they’ve added. And when I say new, I mean since 1998, usually.
